Too often, I've found that your intros take away (my) the pleasure of interpreting and analyzing your writings. Perhaps, you've forgotten how well I did in the appreciation of your earlier works which we "discussed" by email. I'm sure, though, that some internalization or absorption of "growth" by my subconscious happened, nonetheless.
Having said that, you must admit that the "sensation of the idea of 'growth" is embedded in the "form" of the poem, in "concrete", as well, as in "abstract" ways, which I was quick in grasping in its fulness in my reading of it.
Good poems grab me, not vice-versa!
Besides, my "elliptical" reading of it was not intimated in your introduction !
Egos, aside ..., I don't want "some" credit .. I want "full" credit for it - only because the Poem is truly deserving of it !!

Ciao, Piratessa di Mari a me intimi e attraversabili. :-)

Alvarox

Grazie, carissima poetessa e amica...

Un abbraccio forte!

Mariannamaripianihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06823541260541140025noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8500886751137781238.post-59776555694131000132014-10-05T12:12:44.531+02:002014-10-05T12:12:44.531+02:00Ciao my dear Corsaro.

Capitain, My Captain...

Yours

(WOW! Quite an image, if I may say!)

This composition grows with each stanza (literally) and in each, it finds itself growing out of its preceding growth, anew!

Just like You, Mari, for life, any expression of it, was never meant to be linear nor circular, perhaps elliptical and variant as it strings itself across its own variable length, springing itself forth as it is grows into its own beingness.

Thank You for "being", my dear poet !

Love, always
xo
Alvaro

P.S. Today, I re-joined the gym I left 3 yrs. ago and I feel particularly alive. *_* Do you still run, once a week?
